We had so much fun and were incredibly honored to have been able to shoot this Graylyn Estate Wedding in Winston-Salem Nc!
The Couple
First of all, you know the wedding is going to be awesome when the bride is wearing a pink dress and the bridesmaids are wearing white! Brian & Becca quickly became great friends of ours! We met at Brian’s cousin Whitney & Jamie’s Wedding, Brian owns Drone Media Solutions did the video for their wedding and seriously knocked it out of the park! They live in Atlanta but came up to Charlotte for their engagement session and it was so great getting to know them! Not only just their personality but their love for each other. These are two people that you want to spend more and more time with. After their engagement session, we got REALLY excited about the opportunity to shoot their Gralyn Estate wedding and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by the most loving people and the most loving family. And you know what they say, you can tell someone’s character by the company they keep. And these two, have amazing friends and family! The day was full of emotion and fun and a lot of really pretty things! They picked the perfect venue for their wedding!
The Graylyn Estate Wedding Ceremony
The wedding took place at the beautiful Graylyn Estate in Winston Salem, Nc! The Graylyn is an enchanting place to say the least. It reminds me of a palace that you would find in England. It has a couple of cottages and compounds where people can stay and beautiful lawns, pools and other areas for events. The ceremony was held outside on the back lawn under a beautiful gazebo and it was an amazing intimate wedding. You can imagine the surprise when Becca walked down the aisle in her stunning blush pink dress!
The Graylyn Estate Wedding Reception
This was a fun wedding! First off, the band was FIRE! They did an amazing job keeping the crowd hype and having a lot of fun. They went straight from the dinner to the cake cutting, which we don’t see often but makes complete sense because after dinner, I want some desert! Then they had their first dance and then shared the father daughter dance and the mother son dance which we don’t see at every wedding! It got to be pretty emotional and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place! Later as the night went on I decided to sneak out and change it up. I did a couple of shots from outside while Brian & Becca danced and they turned out really well! Then they exited with a trail of sparkler riding away into the night in a red mustang!
The Graylyn Estate Wedding Vendors.
This wedding was stacked with some amazing Vendors! First of all, it took place at the Amazing Gralyn Estate, which I can’t stop saying enough good things about! It is a STUNNING compound with stone buildings and an elegant interior. Her GORGEOUS blush pink dress from Bridals by Lori & Designed by Romano Keveza was TO-DIE-FOR! The stunning cake was made by Regi Originals and not only was it beautiful, it was delicious too! The band brought the HOUSE down! The guys, and lady, over at The New Royals were really really good! The lead singer got out on the dance floor, they played some awesome songs and they killed their instruments! Hair & Makeup was done by KD Cobb and the video was by Brian’s company Drone Media Solutions, I seriously can’t wait to see the video! Of course we, Anchor & Veil Photography took the images. And Amy Lynn Originals absolutely crushed it with the most beautiful floral arrangements!
