Let me tell you a little story of how we met these two!
Years ago, who knows how it really started but we began following each other on instagram! We developed an awesome e-friendship that blossomed and grew. We never thought it would go anywhere since she lived in Dallas and we were in Nc. Then Rebecca met Daniel! We knew from all of their insta posts that this was the real deal and that these two loved each other!
A couple of months ago, we posted that we were shooting a wedding in Dallas so we connected with Rebecca and set up a session for after the wedding. That same week Daniel emailed us and told us he wanted to propose during the session! HOW EXCITING! So we looked for an awesome location and some friends pointed us to this quarry in Mckinney Texas, we got a hold of the owner and set it up! It was important we got a hold of the owner because kids and photographers have been trespassing on the property so she threatens to shoot them. We didn’t want that! So we continued through the session and as we got to the middle of the session, I feel like I set it up to perfection. I put them in the location where he should propose then,
I said “Ok Daniel, tell Rebecca what you are most excited about for the future!” I thought he was going to say something like “You getting to be my wife… BAM… Drop on one knee”..
Didn’t happen.
So I said “Rebecca, let me just get a cool pic of Daniel, you stand next to Kathryn!”
Then I said to Daniel, whats up man!
And he said “Oh, I was waiting on you! I’m ready when you are. I want her to turn around and see me on one knee! ”
So then we set it up and I said “OK Rebecca! Turn around.. Now, when I say turn around, I just want you to….. act excited!!”
Act excited… what the heck does that mean?! hahaha
Well, needless to say, when she turned around.. she was pretty excited!
