It was so amazing for us to be a part of Monica & Tony’s, Byron’s South End Wedding in uptown Charlotte!
The Couple
Monica & tony are the type of people that above all, love each other, love their families and want to have a lot of fun! Monica is one of the most selfless people I have ever met. She is constantly thinking of other people and you can easily see that in the way that she lovers her siblings and loves Tony! Tony is a really awesome, laid back guy, that on this wedding day was down for anything for the shot, and I always love that! Their wedding made us feel like we were family and at home and we are so thankful for them! Monica & Tony are two people that we hope will always be great friends of ours.
The Byron’s South End Wedding Ceremony
This ceremony took place in the design center next door to the reception and it was gorgeous! During the ceremony, her and her bridesmaids walked down a beautiful staircase to get to the altar. The ceremony was one of the most emotional, beautiful and love-filled ceremonies we have seen! As they read their vows, they weren’t the normal, short vows but they were long and heart-felt, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room! When they walked out of the ceremony it was like they were floating on cloud nine!
The Byron’s South End Wedding Reception
This reception was fun! Man, they did a couple of things we had never seen before. For example, they had this dance where people literally walked up to the dance floor, placed money into a bag and then danced with the bride. That is my type of wedding dance. I looked over to Kathryn and asked her why the heck we didn’t do that at our wedding! haha! The reception was full of dancing and partying, I mean it was fun! They also did this really awesome thing where they tied scratch-off lottery tickets to the bouquet and garter, and if I was a guest, I would have been fighting for that thing! A big theme to their wedding was red, she had a red lining in her dress, they had red bridesmaids dresses and they exited by letting go red balloons! It was an incredible day!
The Byron’s South End Wedding Vendors
Let me tell you, we worked again with Be Pretty and Sabrina Claudine  and they ALWAYS do an incredible job with Hair & Makeup! Catering was done by Best Impressions and the food was amazing! The party was rocked by Anything Music, and they killed some awesome classic rock that everyone loved! Of course, we at Anchor & Veil Photography with the help of Monica and Tony made some serious magic. We are thankful for all of the planners and for the amazing venue!  Now Enjoy the images!
