The Beech Mountain Ski Resort Wedding

It was such a delight shooting this celebration of love at the Beech Mountain Ski Resort Wedding.  Even Hurricane Florence couldn’t put out the fire between these two.  Eden and Joshua met at a ski resort in the mountains.  For that reason, it was their dream to have a mountain themed wedding.  So, when the weather turned for the worse the venue moved the ceremony under tents.  Creating a truly unforgettable day that everyone will remember.

The Groom’s Big Day

It was especially fun capturing these moments with the groom as he prepared himself for his bride.  It is not often that we are able to capture the true essence of the couple during this time, but we grabbed some really cool photos here.

The Bride’s Special Moments

As the day begun, the brides expressed her thoughts about this special day so beautifully.  “Things will go wrong, people will drive you crazy, but just remember the true propose of the day. You are marrying your best friend, and it is something to remember and celebrate.”

Even Hurricane Florence Couldn’t Come Between These Two!

What a joy to watch the Bride and Groom as we captured their “first look” in the rain.  I am so glad we were able to share this special time with Eden and Joshua. The bride and groom under umbrella at the Beech Mountain Ski Resort Wedding

The Beech Mountain Ski Resort Wedding Reception

The best part of the day for Eden and Joshua was sharing it with their close friends and family.  It truly felt like one big party.

“To Me” by Jake Etheridge was the song they chose for their first dance.  It was really important to the couple that they didn’t have a well known traditional song.  The bride said, “this song was fun for us to dance to and we both love the words.”

To remain true to their simple style, the bride and groom chose wood fire pizza and donuts to celebrate their big day with their close family and friends.

No traditional wedding cake for these two.  The couple had a small cheesecake to cut during the reception, and donuts for their guests.  “Who doesn’t love donuts…”, the bride said.

It was “one big party” filled with dancing and fun with family and friend as everyone dance their hearts out.

As the night came to an end, the couple headed to their new life as husband and wife under a cascade of sparklers.

The Beech Mountain Ski Resort Vendors

The vendors for the Beech Mountain Ski Resort Wedding were incredible.  So, when the weather decided to shift the plans, everyone involved made all the adjustments need to make this day a glorious event.  Chelsey of Charlottefete.com was the wedding planner. The simple, yet exquisite floral designs were done by NC Mountain Flowers. Then, Boone Rent-All stepped in and saved the day when they moved this mountain themed wedding under tents.  The Wood Fired Oven supplied the made to order pizzas. The party was bumping with Paul from NC DJ’s.  The brides hair was done by Candace Workman, and her make-up beautifully done by Bryn Nelson.  Finally, the photography was done by Devin Robinson of Anchor and Veil Photography.  If you want more information about how to have the A&V experience, then contact us here.
