The Boone Hall Plantation Wedding was a joy for me to shoot. The entire day turned out to be exactly what the bride and groom wanted. Also, the wedding and reception maintained a minimalist chic and bohemian style wedding. We were all captivated by their love. However, it was the venue, Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens that gave the bride butterflies and all their guests could feel them too.

It was really important to the bride to keep the ceremony short and sweet. I really enjoy the simple and intimate event and the entire day was as beautiful as this bride and groom.

The Simple, Chic and Bohemian Inspired Reception at The Boone Hall Plantation Wedding
“Holocene” by Bon Iver, has been a special song to both Adam and Mackenzee throughout their relationship, so they chose for their “first dance.” “It’s a reminder to stay humble”, she said. 
A truly special moment during the ceremony was the bride and groom chose to dedicate a dance to her mom and dad’s wedding song in her memory… 
The cake was sweet and simple and the cake topper said it all… “foreva, eva”!!!

The location and ambiance was perfect for this beautiful wedding, and Natalie Knox, the wedding planner at Boone Hall Plantation didn’t disappoint. The floral designs by Duvall Events were simple and accented the outdoor theme into the reception. The bride’s bouquet featured her favorite flower, the King Protea, and it took center stage. Hair and makeup for the bride was done by Brittany – Lashes and Laces. DJ Mike Bills at Mike Bills Entertainment set the night on fire with hits from all eras.
