Oh the Rose Family! What an incredible privilege it was to capture such joy and love! This family have been long time friends to Kathryn and me and have been BEYOND supportive of our business.
Let me take you back a little bit…
Before we had our own cameras and were taking serious the idea of starting a photography company, there was the Rose family. I met the Roses back in 2008 on a project with my college ministry and we immediately hit it off. Wither he knows it or not, Doug was extremely influential in molding me into the man, spiritually, that I am today. It is great to live in the same city as them and get to spend time with them from time to time.
I used to shoot with a Canon T2i, don’t laugh, I was just starting out and had no idea where to start. I knew Doug had an incredible camera and someone had asked me to shoot a wedding for them, it was my second and the first for Kathryn and I together! So I did what I had to do, borrowed, I wasn’t going to use that T2i as a main camera! And the Roses were gracious enough to let me use their INCREDIBLE Camera!
Not only did they let us use their camera on other occassions, they also gave a gift that we still use to this day and used in this session with them.
Because of them our business is where it is today. We can’t even begin to explain how thankful we are for this family, both spiritually and from a business standpoint. It is people like this that make doing what we do.. worth it. They are supportive and encouraging, we are eternally thankful.
We had this session to thank them. There is no session that will be able to express our gratitude but we thought that this is the least we can do.
