McDowell Nature Preserve Engagement Session Photos

These two are awesome and we knew that once we met them that we would LOVE them! We met up for their McDowell Nature Preserve engagement session and after a couple of minutes we realized that these two are naturals in front of the camera!

The Couple

Charles & Leslie are two really really awesome people! They have been dating long distance since she teaches here in NC and he was in grad school at Yale. Yea, that’s right, YALE! He is really creative, laid back and and has an incredible designers brain and got his masters in architecture! She is the sweetest girl but I know when she gets in the classroom its all business! Together, these two are pretty amazing! From the moment we met them in our studio we knew that it was going to be a good match!

The McDowell Nature Preserve Engagement Session

After a couple of weeks we found a great location for these two and let me tell you, it was perfect! We started in the woods then hiked our way around the water and to create some awesome pics with the beautiful lake in the background! After, we took a nice little drive down to the bottom where there is a creek. If you know anything about us and creeks, we HAVE to get in and climb around. Thankfully these two were completely game for it and they were able to create some magic! After the session, one of our favorite things to do is go to dinner with our clients. We absolutely LOVE doing this because we get to hang out, chat and just get to know each other. We went to Mac’s Speed Shop and it was THE BEST BBQ we have ever had, no joke! It was a great day!
