My wife recently came to me with a great dilemma. She hated separating the egg yolk from the egg white. I mean come on, who doesn’t hate doing this! There doesn’t seem to be a really good way to sift through them, unless you’re like my college strength coach who could separate a dozen yolks from a dozen eggs in under a minute with his bare hands!
As I thought about a solution, I remembered a trick I saw a while back at the Catalyst Conference in Atlanta. So I thought I would give it a try. It is fun and you can do it too! All you need is:
A Plastic Bottle…. Thats it!
Here is the pesky egg yolk, contaminating the egg white!
All you do is:
1. Tilt the container (or else the yolk falls right out of the bottle and makes a mess…. Learned that the hard way)
2. Place the bottle mouth over the yolk
3. Squeeze!
And VOILA! You have successfully separated the egg yolk from the egg white!
GENIUS I know!
Now go and start eating healthy my friends!
