These two were not only a great couple but they have been longtime friends for us and it was such an amazing joy to capture their Morning Glory Farm Wedding!
The Couple
Brad and Kalyn are two people that are extremely generous and loving. Brad and I go way back to his freshman year in college. He went to UNCC where he played baseball and I helped out with campus outreach. I got to know him really well and he even helped us moved a couple of times! These two are high school sweethearts that have been dating for a long time and when we say “its about time” IT WAS ABOUT TIME! They belong together and it was great to celebrate with them! We did their engagement session a little while ago and the session seriously looked like it shot in 3 different countries! They completely ROCKED it and it was one of our favorite to date!
The Morning Glory Farm Wedding
It was a hot day but the ceremony was perfect! It was covered by trees and sat right on a beautiful pond for everyone to enjoy. One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was when after the ceremony, Brad & Kalyn walked back down the aisle to escort their parents out. It was amazing! It was such a joy for us to be a part of such a special ceremony, it was worth the wait!
The Morning Glory Farm Reception
The reception was a lot of fun and was a real family affair. Their family helped to set everything up before the wedding and it made for a beautiful set up! Their was a large decorated table with beautiful mismatch antique plates. They had amazing food and an awesome backdrop for group photos! The night then ended with an amazing sparkler exit. It seriously was an amazing night!
The Morning Glory Farm Wedding Vendors
The venue was a Morning Glory farm Wedding! Morning glory farm weddings are some of the most beautiful in Charlotte. It’s a beautiful compound that has beautiful spots for the guys and the girls to get ready. The ladies cottage has amazing light with multiple rooms to get ready and the guys spot is a real man cave! The other thing we love about this venue is that EVERYTHING is in one place. You can get ready, have the ceremony and reception in the same place. Trust us, this helped to make this 100 degree day in Charlotte much more bearable! Amanda Edwards did the hair & Makeup and absolutely killed it! Teresa Price helped to plan it. Scott York from Piedmont Flowers made amazing bouquets and of course, us from Anchor & Veil Photography took these pics. Hope you enjoy!
