Man, what an incredible pleasure it was to be a part of Kaylan & Chad’s Founders Hall Wedding in Uptown Charlotte. The day was absolutely perfect and we had a whole lot of time for portraits which you know we love!
The Couple
Kaylan & Chad first came to us because of Mandi from Social 10 Events, which let me tell you, she is freaking amazing! She is the go-to for Charlotte wedding planner for planning your wedding and she will absolutely KILL it! We did their engagement session at Romear Beardon Park in Uptown Charlotte and it was amazing! We got to know them a little but what we really enjoyed was getting to know them on their wedding day! They both are lawyers but one thing I love about them is that they LOVE to have fun! I’m not saying lawyers don’t have fun but these two I know are very professional but around their friends and family know how to get down! It was a fun wedding!
The Founders Hall Wedding
They had their ceremony at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, a beautiful church with lovely windows and the ceremony was a tear jerker. As Kaylan walked down the aisle you could see Chad fighting back the tears! After we made our way to the reception location, the great thing is we had PLENTY of time, I’m talking over an hour! This is a dream come true when it comes to pictures and we had a bunch of amazing photos. We stopped at the Mint Museum in uptown Charlotte to take some wedding photos and snuck into some alley ways.
The Founders Hall Wedding Reception
When I say that Mandi completely rocked it, I mean she KILLED IT! She did an amazing job with making this space perfect. Founders Hall is a huge space with store fronts around it but with her wizardry she made it amazing. They choreographed the most perfect dance and her dad, an ESPN worker gave a speech to remember. Founders Hall was full of tears and laughter but most of all love. After that, they danced the night away and had a perfect sparkler exit!
The Founders Hall Wedding Vendors
This was pretty much the dream team of wedding professionals! Mandi from Social 10 Events put on a perfect million event! Kaylan looked beautiful in her Antonio Gaul for Tulle Dress from Erin Grey Couture and J Majors was to die for!  The catering from Sonoma Restaurant made some delicious food! The staff at Lily Greenthumbs rocked it like always, pure perfection! Erin Ashley who is one of the best in Charlotte brought the beauty with her makeup and the ladies at the Beauty Lab did a great job on her hair! Last but certainly not least the band from Soul Play brought the house down with an amazing party! Us at Anchor & Veil Photography of course did the pictures but teamed up with Timm Young films making an amazing Duo!
