We shot Dave & Emily’s engagement session back in November and once we did, we just KNEW their wedding was going to be something INCREDIBLE! Being long-time friends with both of them made it that much sweeter. Their wedding was refreshing, fun, and beautiful! With a little snow sprinkled in :).
The weeks and days leading up to this wedding near Charlotte in Winston Salem were some of the coldest days in NC history so we had no idea what this day would hold! Being in February, we knew it was going to be cold, but we didn’t know if it was going to snow, rain or what. Thankfully the rain held off and it snowed a little earlier in the week. Because of this, we got to take full advantage of how amazing that NC snow looks in images!
These two toughed it out. I mean seriously. We constantly asked if they were cold, and their response was always “yes! But the pictures will be worth it!” And boy were they right! I hope you enjoy these images just as much as we did because it was COOOLLLLLD but a whole lot of fun!

This is probably one of my favorite reception pictures of all time. I was able to go up in the balcony control a couple of the lights and spotlight how amazing Dave & Emily looked on the dance floor. As if there is no one else but them!
