This Charlotte City Club wedding was seriously a joy! They got married at the Dunhill Hotel then married at St. Peters Church in uptown Charlotte.
The Couple
Lindsey & Walker are two people that absolutely LOVE to be around each other and love to have a good time. I really enjoyed getting to know them both and getting to hang out with them during their engagement session! During their session we walked around the 4th ward of Charlotte and got some incredible skyline images. Their love is seriously infectious and the way that they look at each other gives you all of the heart eyes! Walker and I are kindred spirits. he played baseball at App State right before I played baseball at UNCG. We almost played each other but we knew some of the same people. And although I don’t have any University of Georgia ties with Lindsey, we quickly connected because of her bubbly personality and her uncanny ability to make people feel special! Walker definitely lucked out with this one! You know its a good couple when they have family and friends from all over the country come in for their wedding day and this was no different! They had people from New Jersey, New York and even all the way in Washington! Even the details from this day were special. Her Mother handmade her veil and she word her grandmothers pearl ring and it was stunning!
The St. Peters Episcopal Church Wedding
The Wedding was a dream! Seriously, it was held in an absolutely beautiful church. St. Peters Episcopal Church in Uptown charlotte was a beautiful location for a wedding. The backdrop was to die for and Walkers uncle played the Harp. yea, the HARP! It is a beautiful instrument and his uncle played could play! They decided to do a first look outside of the church but that didn’t take away from how beautiful the ceremony was. From the little moments we got to sneak in before the ceremony to the end, it was perfection!
The Charlotte City Club Wedding reception
The Charlotte City Club is one of our favorite wedding venues in Charlotte! During this reception we got to use every foot of it! We welcomed them in as they walked down the spiral staircase to cut the cake. Everyone made their way into the dining room for dinner and toasts and then we danced the night away! They finished with the most perfect sparkler exit and a drive off in the dunhill vintage car to cap off the perfect night!
The Charlotte City Club Wedding Vendors
We had the privilege of working with an AMAZING team of vendors! Hair & Make up was done by Kymm and her team over at Who’s the fairest! This girl and her team is SERIOUSLY talented! We have worked with them in the past and they kill it everytime! We had the joy of working with Karen from Lily GreenThumbs for the first time and let me say, we are EXCITED to get to work with them again in the future! Those ladies have incredible vision and talent and we can’t say enough good things about them! We got to work with the guys of Split Second Sound and they never cease to bring the party! The photography was by none other than us, Anchor & Veil! And the stationary was all done by Minted! They looked beautiful next to her grandmothers ring and that clutch!
