Wow! This is one of those weddings with two incredible people that you can’t help but sit back and swoon over. Yes, this is the first time we have said that word on this blog and this wedding is very swoon worthy. Every aspect of the wedding was delightfully perfect! It starts with the beautiful venue at Yesterday Spaces tucked away into the mountains of Asheville, the donkeys on the working farm and the tractor used to bring people from their parking spots. The long walk-way leading to the reception that the bride and her father walked down and even the breathtaking landscape. There could not have been a more perfect mountain wedding, the bluegrass band brought a little more authenticity to the mix! Caroline and Evan are a young couple in love with the Lord and in love with each other. You can see it clearly in every picture, it radiates from their very being. The way they look at each other, the way they embrace and kiss one another, it’s like a fairy tale that the Lord has woven together to make a perfect wedding! Caroline and Evan, we love you and are so thankful that you allowed us to capture this day for you. The love you have for one another is inspiring and so beautiful. It is always a joy to be around you both. We love hearing from our brides about he best day of their life, here is what Caroline had to say:
Q. What was your favorite part about the wedding?
A. Both Evan and my favorite part was when we were introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Evan Phillips as we entered the reception. Everyone was drum-rolling on the table, and we couldn’t have felt more loved and supported!
Q. What was one quirky or crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?
A. Right after my dad gave me away, at the beginning of the ceremony, he turned around to go sit in his seat and he tripped over the back of my dress!! We will be laughing about that for years!
Q. What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A. I think the most special moment was before the wedding when Evan and I were able to hold hands, exchange gifts, and pray together. Of course without his seeing me! It was such a sweet moment that we will forever look back on.
Q. Did you wear anything special, like your mother’s wedding dress?
A. It didn’t wear anything special. However, my grandmother called me two days before the wedding to tell me that she purchased my bouquet. Though the precious thing is, that she used money that my grandfather, who died 20 years ago, collected into a giant jar from his pocket change everyday for years.
Q. How would you rate our service and why?
A. Your service was phenomenal. We have done a lot of pictures with you all and every time we have fun, feel comfortable, as well as feel very thought for. Working with you both is so easy and care free. We haven’t had to worry about one thing! Thank you!
Love is not affectionate feeling, but a steady wish for the loved person’s ultimate good as far as it can be obtained.
