Courtney & Jeremy’s Alabama Museum of Natural History Wedding was one of our favorites that made us over the moon happy!
The Couple
Courtney and I go waaaaayyyy back. I’m talking kindergarten, here! We met and instantly bonded over having the same juice box and we were inseparable after that. We were in school together through high school graduation where we parted ways- I went to N.C. State and she went all the way to Tuscaloosa, Alabama to be on their water skiing team. Good thing she did, because that’s where she would meet the love of her life, Jeremy. Though from the toasts at the rehearsal dinner (and from their own mouths) it took a while for the friendship to kindle into a romance. One thing is for sure though- they love each other deeply and have a very deep love for the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!).
The Smith Hall Alabama Museum of Natural History Wedding
Courtney and Jeremy had a beautiful wedding on the campus of the University of Alabama in Smith Hall- which just so happens to have a massive dinosaur skeleton hanging from above. What I love about Courtney and Jeremy is that they actually kind of loved that dinosaur instead of wanting to take it down. That’s the kind of couple they are- they roll with whatever life throws their way! They had a beautiful and intimate first look at Shelby Hall before their ceremony. Courtney also did a first look with her dad that I think had everyone around in tears 😉
The Amazing Vendors
This wedding had an amazing dream team of vendors working hard to make everything perfect! The florals were done by Wayne Adams, hair by Amanda Shelby of New Creations Salon, makeup by Elizabeth Montavon of Stylist Gone Rogue, the cakes were created by Mary’s from Mary’s Cakes and Pastries (and boy were they yummy!), the delicious catering was from Kathy G. & Company, Sandy Clarke designed the beautiful stationery, Jeremy looked dashing in his tuxedo from Vera Wang’s line at Men’s Warehouse, and Courtney looked breathtaking in her Stella York gown from Diane’s Formal Affair. Feel the Beat entertainment kept the party going all night, the rentals were provided by Special Events and the incredible Susan Newman brought everything together in the most perfect way.
Courtney and Jeremy, your day was perfect and we feel SO honored to be a part of it!
