The Sun was shining, the birds were chirping and the bride was beautiful, it s a perfect day for a wedding
This was to be a night to remember for Sarah and Andrew.
Kathryn and I were so honored to be apart of such a special day for such great friends. It was a joy to be able to capture this incredible chic wedding in a beautiful barn at the Winmock at Kinderton in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Andrew & Sarah are an incredible couple that it is easy to be jealous of because it seems like their love for one another just pours out uncontrollably.
Andrew is in the Army and will be stationed in South Korea, so it was a special treat for him to wear his Uniform for their first look photos.
This wedding was an great picture of a Son, who became an incredible man and married an AMAZING woman of God!
Here are some of Andrew & Sarah’s memories from the day:
Q: What was your favorite part about the wedding?
A: Reciting our vows to one another. We promised some powerful stuff to one another! Extreme situations may become our best friend in the army, so what a comfort it was to hear him say no matter the situation, I will be his wife.
Q: What was one quirky or crazy thing that happened on your wedding day?
A: The morning of the wedding, Andrew texted me to tell me that his mom had just spotted an error on the programs. With no time or energy to fix it, we were forced to exchange “vowels” instead of “vows.” Talk about embarrassing! To all brides: Proof read! Twice!
Q: What do you look forward to most about being married?
A:Pillow talk! I wish … he falls straight to sleep when his head hits the pillow. But I am just looking forward to falling asleep with him and waking up with him every night and morning 🙂
Q: What was the most special moment on your wedding day?
A: Aside from saying, “I do” to the man I love, the most special moment was right before my dad walked me down the aisle and when he gave me away. I am a daddy’s girl, and his candid words and emotions were so precious to me. And how can I forget his singing during our dance?! We danced to a song that he used to sing to me when I was a little girl, “Sara Smile.” So, of course, he bursted out into song while we were dancing.
Q: How would you rate our service and why?
A: 101. Andrew and I felt comfortable with you. Your personalities came out when shooting our photographs. It was fun and light hearted, yet prepared and professional. The dynamics of your duo approach caught amazing angles and all the shots we could’ve asked for. Our pictures were delivered to us in a timely manner. The quality of the photographs are amazing. We are so thankful for your service and recommend Anchor and Veil Photography to anyone who is looking for a photographer!
