2020 has been a wild ride so far, but it has already presented us with AMAZING opportunities to grow our family and serve more people! With more & more members joining our family and a brand new office, we are going to make 2020 the best year ever, and we owe that to you, our amazing couples!
For all of the ups, there are some downs. Unfortunately, the world is being impacted by COVID-19, and businesses have already begun to feel the effects of this virus. We are wanting to let you, our wonderful A&V family, know what our steps are moving forward and how we want to make sure that we are doing our part to make sure it remains contained and you are through for! We as a studio that cares about your health, issues, and concerns and wants to make sure we are even more flexible with your schedules during this time. We will be 100% real and honest with you regarding this information, keeping up-to-date with all news recommendations and travel advisories, making sure we are aware of the virus and its impact on a day-to-day basis.
Engagement Sessions:
If you want to delay/cancel your session due to the Corona Virus, please let our Studio Manager Janeille (janeille@anchorandveilphotography.com) know! From there, we can work on rescheduling the session. If you choose to keep your session and wedding date, but still feel uneasy with health concerns, we will do whatever it takes to make sure our germs do not spread. We will wear gloves, masks, layers, etc. to ensure that you are safe when we are around you. Photographers will be 100% honest about their current health conditions before your meeting.
We will also work on doing the sessions in less populated areas to make sure that we minimize any possible contamination.
Traveling:
Though our brand is based in Charlotte, NC, we are constantly traveling the U.S. for engagement sessions, bridals, boudoirs, and weddings. If you want more information on where your photographer has traveled, please let us know! We are more than happy to inform you of where we have been for your safety concerns. We will be open and honest about all past, current, and future travel itineraries. If you are uncomfortable with anything, we will work hard to find a solution.
Health:
Please let us know how you are feeling internally and externally about yourselves! This COVID-19 is a serious case, and as much as we want to make sure you guys are safe, we want to make sure our photographers are as safe as well. If you aren’t feeling well, it’s always okay to reschedule your sessions for a different time. If anything changes with the health of our photographers, we will let you know as soon as possible so that we can determine the next steps.
Rescheduling:
Depending on the threat levels of the virus, we completely understand if you want to move the date of your wedding or sessions. If you have rescheduled your engagement/bridal/boudoir session or wedding and your photographer is not available on the new date, no worries, we have more photographers that can do your date! The best part about choosing Anchor & Veil Photography is that all of our photographers are trained the same, and we have a dedicated editor making sure we have the consistent, signature, Anchor & Veil look and feel to your images regardless of who is photographing your wedding!.
Refunds:
We are more than willing to help in any way that we can. If your wedding is rescheduled or canceled, our first priority is to make sure we can be available for your new wedding date. If we are not available for your new wedding date per our contract, your retainer is non-refundable, and this would fall under the Force Majeure section of your contract since the reschedule was initiated by an act outside of our control. That being said, we genuinely LOVE you all so much and are happy that you have chosen Anchor & Veil to capture your most significant moments, we are willing to give you 50% of the retainer back and help you find an available photographer if we are booked for your new date! Though this virus is beyond our control, we want to make sure you remain confident and excited about your decision to choose us.
It is always our goal to make sure you guys are loved and valued and that you know you are in THE BEST hands. With that being said, we want to make sure that you are all prepared for what may happen.
