Well, the year is officially half way over! I can’t believe how fast it’s gone by! Before we know it, it will be 2018!
We had such a fun {and rainy} month!
We started the month off with a beautiful wedding at The Angus Barn in Raleigh, NC. Melinda and Josh (you might remember them from their engagement session) got married outside overlooking the pond, and had a gorgeous indoor reception!
The week after that, I went to my childhood home to work on my quilt projects with my mom! That’s right, I make quilts! It’s a little old school, but I love that it’s something my mom has taught me and I hope to teach to my daughter one day! I’ve also found that it’s a great creative outlet for me! This is my current project! I can’t wait to have it finished!
While I was there, Devin did a session for Nicole & Jake in Uptown Charlotte! These two are so much fun and we can’t wait for their wedding in August!!
Then we headed up to Boone, NC for Nicole & Dylan’s wedding! They got married on their family’s vineyard (Grandfather Vineyard & Winery) and you guys it was SO beautiful! We can’t wait to go back up there and do a wine tasting 🙂
We also had a bridal session this month, buuuut I can’t show you that yet 😉 But I’ll tell you this: Amanda knocked it out of the park!
After Amanda’s bridal session, it was back to the mountains for Casey & Steven’s wedding at Westglow Resort & Spa and it was SO beautiful! Casey and Steven’s daughter definitely stole the show and all of our hearts 🙂
The theme for June has obviously been mountains because after Casey & Steven’s wedding we headed to Asheville, NC for Becca & Adam’s engagement session!! EEEKKKK these two definitely brought the fire!! They went along with Devin’s crazy (genius?) ideas and it was totally worth it! We can’t wait for their wedding this fall!!
Then we hopped on a plane for St Lucia to photograph Brett & Aviry’s wedding!! We did a pre-wedding session on the beach tonight and we can’t wait to show you their wedding pictures!! Until then you can look at pictures of us 😉
June has been such a fun month for us and we can’t wait to see what July has in store <3
