The New York City Anniversary Session

We met Laura shortly after she met Satchel a couple of years ago. Laura works at The Duke Mansion and is an UHMAAZZINGG coordinator there, you have to go and meet her! She has been an amazing peer in the industry and a great friend and it was an incredible honor to have them in front of the camera. This New York City Anniversary Session with these two was one of our favorite to date. Although it was freezing cold because it is the beginning of December 1st, they withstood the freezing cold weather and helped to create some serious magic!

We started at the courthouse right near the Brooklyn Bridge then made our way over right after. We thought the bridge would be colder but it actually was a nice break despite all of the people stopping to stare, take photos and give their congratulations, clearly they thought these two just got married.

After the Brooklyn bridge, we took the subway all of the way to Bethesda Terrace in Central Park. These two walked through the trees hand-in-hand until we made our way under the tunnel! We got there and there was practically a concert with a bunch of people crowing the area. So, instead of waiting until everyone was out of the way, we took advantage of the guys playing the stand-up bass and it was pretty awesome! Once everyone left, we took more photos under the tunnel. With the beautiful arches, paintings and architecture, this place is such a dream to shoot in and with this couple, it made it easy!

This was an awesome session and I’m thankful for these two, we hope you enjoyed all of the pictures!
