Let me tell you, I have been waiting a LONG time to shoot and show you guys this Horseshoe Bend Elopement Wedding! Masie & Shane are the two absolutely most amazing people in the world and to have this adventurous bride hike the Grand Canyon in a Hayley Paige dress was freaking amazing!
A little back story. As we went to explore spots, this little Prius got stuck in some serious sand so it took a lot of pushing to get it out! Once we got it out, celebration was in store, especially since the ceremony started in 15 minutes! 
After the wedding, we all shared a meal together in a small restaurant and after went home for cake where she read love notes from her sorority sisters and cried tears of joy!
You can’t end the night without a little baby throw-up getting on someone. #DadLife!
The Horseshoe Bend Elopement Wedding Couple
A while ago we met Masie on the best place to meet people, Instagram! Through this, we gained a relationship and eventually she contacted us about wanting to shoot her elopement. When we found out she lived in Arizona, the only place that made sense was the amazing Horseshoe Bend! We also met up during the Christmas Holiday to shoot their amazing family in Dumbo Brooklyn! Their family is the cutest! Their daughter Amelia is a huge part of their life so we made sure that a big part of the story told during this week included a lot of her! We love this family and their heart for each other and other people, being with them during this time was a huge joy to us!
The Horseshoe Bend Elopement Wedding
Let me tell you, sometimes you can plan things and it doesn’t always go according to that plan but when that happens, it generally works out for the best! We had a lot of things that we wanted to do that didn’t end up working out but once you see these photos, you will see that all of that doesn’t matter because this day was amazing! What I love about this elopement was how intimate it was. There were around 10 people total, just family and these two and everyone could fit on tis one tiny rock. We raced to beat the rain for their ceremony and because of that, the cloud coverage was absolutely perfect for amazing photos and the half mile hike was a breeze! These two challenged each other and encouraged each other as they shared vows at the edge of the cliff!
After the ceremony we took some amazing photos of these two in the most majestic and beautiful scenery you will ever see! You should all check it out one day, you have to go! I am so thankful for these two and can’t wait to see where the future takes them!
