Cap Maison Destination Wedding | St Lucia | Aviry + Brett

Weddings

I seriously can’t say enough good things about this Cap Maison destination wedding, it was a complete dream come true and Aviry and Brett (not to mention their families and friends) were absolutely AMAZING to work with! You may remember these two from their awesome in home engagement session! We started the weekend by shooting a couple of portraits of them before the rehearsal dinner, which was a great ideal because we didn’t make it down to the beach the night of the wedding. The rocks that were around were breathtaking and they brought an amazing wow factor!

The Cap Maison Destination Wedding

Aviry visited the Cap Maison in St Lucia, and fell in love with it and just knew it was the perfect setting for her and Brett’s wedding. It was an intimate wedding, overlooking the beautiful ocean and picturesque mountains of St. Lucia. About an hour before the ceremony, it started to rain. I don’t mean the typical afternoon Caribbean drizzle. I mean the windy, sideways, heavy rain that makes you think twice about even going outside. Thankfully, it stopped right before their ceremony! It was seriously perfect timing. Aviry walked towards her groom and emotion overcame everyone, including us! Aviry’s dad co-officiated the wedding… cue the water works! I can’t think of a more fitting person for the job!

This family and group of friends had so. much. love. for each other and joy was radiating from everyone – including Aviry’s grandparents who have been married a very long time (over 60 years I believe!). You could tell they are the kind of grandparents that everyone respects and loves – the kind that instill wisdom, but aren’t afraid to get down on the dance floor!

This wedding was such a dream – and not just because of the beautiful location! We are so thankful for the opportunity and privilege it was to capture their day. now, we hope you all enjoy the amazing slideshow with more images from their weekend!
