Sometimes when two people come together, you just know God has his hand all over it. That is exactly how it is for Candi & Tennant. She was a softball player from Elon and he was a swimmer from Davidson. Both met in college and throughout the years began to fall deeply in love.
Candi & Tennant had their wedding at the Davidson College Chapel and the reception was held at the Charles Mack Citizen Center in Mooresville! Both beautiful venues and both fit them perfectly. From their closest friends and family watching as she walks down the aisle to Candi jamming out in her cute white wedding Toms. This wedding was perfectly “them!”
Enough of us talking, hear what Candi had to say about her day!
A. Definitely praying with MY HUSBAND, right after we had declared out intent to wed, and exchanged our vows- such a special moment before the Lord.
A. SOOOO there was a “beatles tribute band” playing right across the street from the church… on Sunday… at 6 pm. I thought I was going to be walking down the isle to “I wanna hold your hand” instead of “Holy Holy Holy”
A. Having BOTH of my grandmas there with me throughout the day.. getting ready, and of course being at the ceremony. I also ADORED dancing with both of my grandfathers at the reception. My grandparents mean so much to me.
A. Tennant and I have known each other for years. Being acquaintances, then friends, and best friends, and now husband and wife. He’s the perfect match for me in ways that I didn’t even know I needed. He’s bold where I am timid, patient where I am anxious, and matches my goofy-ness to boot! I love doing life with him 🙂
A. 12 out of 10! Y’all were so professional, and efficient in your work. We were ahead of schedule- which, does that ever happen? And you were very patient with families, and little ones in the wedding. When around a big group, you took complete control and knew exactly what had to be done, and when.
