Cameron & Chris’s Blue Ridge Parkway engagement session was so amazing and so fun to be a part of!
The Couple
First of all, I can’t say enough amazing things about these two! These two have a joy for Christ and love for each other that very few people we have and it is seriously so much fun to be around! I knew that these two were going to be awesome clients when we met with Cameron, she booked us and then a week later he proposed! WHAT! Yea, she booked us before she was even engaged, which is a first for us but it is awesome! What I also like about them is that they know what they want! We asked where they would want their engagement session and they said not the city, which is refreshing for us when everyone wants to shoot in the city. Don’t get us wrong, we LOVE Charlotte and exploring the ins and outs of Charlotte, but there is nothing like getting out of the city, hiking a bit and finding some amazing beauty that the Lord has give us in the world!
The Blue Ridge Parkway Engagement Session
This session was FUN! We started on the Asheville side of the Blue Ridge Parkway at Linville falls. We hiked down to the falls, ignored the signs to not cross the line and took some awesome pics! If you know me and Kathryn, she was stressing out making sure we didn’t get caught while I was shooting away without a care in the world! We then went to the Moses Cone park and building and Chris brought out his guitar. Not only did he get out his guitar but he sang! Im not talking, oh that is cute, he plays the guitar and sings, but THIS BOY CAN SANNNNG! He broke out into song and sang to Cameron and we were in awe! Then after the park we chased down the sun and headed up to Rough Ridge! We were cutting it short with the light but there ended being plenty of light and some AMAZING scenery. We are so glad to have been able to do this session, it was refreshing and fun and tiring, because of all the hiking but so worth it!
